Violation fees

Review our policies and their related fees to avoid unexpected charges.

“Commercial use fee”

• If you use the booked vehicle for any commercial purposes, ABC AUTOCARS charge you a violation fee a $5000 plus 3.5% processing fees.

“High-risk activity fee”

• If you use the booked vehicle in any other illegal manner, in any motorsport or similar, in any area there is or may be a risk of incidents of civil unrest, political disturbance or riot or any activity associated with any of the foregoing, ABC AUTOCARS charge you a violation fee a $5000 plus 3.5% processing fees.

“Inabilities fee”

• Inability of ABC AUTOCARS to rent out the vehicle due to the default of the Renter or any damages caused by the Renter, ABC AUTOCARS charge you a violation fee up to $5000 plus 3.5% processing fees.

“Additional distance fee”

• If you exceed the mileage included in your booking, ABC AUTOCARS can charge you an additional distance fee for each added mile driven.

“Additional using fee”

• If you’re 30 minutes or more late to return the booked vehicle, ABC AUTOCARS can charge you for additional usage a $100 per hour plus 3.5% processing fees.

“Claims Administration fee”

• Means an administration fee charged in all instances where a claim is processed in respect of damage, loss or theft of the vehicle plus 3.5% processing fees.

“Cleaning policy violation fee”

• If you return the car in a condition that could have only resulted from irresponsible or abusive behavior, we may charge you a violation fee between $150-$500 plus an additional 3.5% processing fee. In some circumstances and at our full discretion, we may also remove you from ABC AUTOCARS.

“EV charging fee”

• If you return an electric vehicle with missing electric charge, ABC AUTOCARS can charge you a fee of $60 for a 0%-20% remaining charge, $30 for a 21%-50% remaining charge, and $20 for a 51%-80% remaining charge plus 3.5% processing fee.

“Empty tank inconvenience fee”

• If you don’t refuel before returning a vehicle, ABC AUTOCARS can charge you a $20 inconvenience fee in addition to their cost to replace the gas plus 3.5% processing fees.

“Client cancellation fee” (outside the free period)

• If your booking was two days or shorter, we’ll charge you half of one day’s booking price and booking fee. If your booking was longer than two days, we’ll charge you one full day’s booking price and booking fee. If you add delivery, we’ll charge half of any delivery fee.

“Client no-show fee”

• If your booking is two days or shorter, we’ll charge you 75% of one day’s booking price and booking fee. If your booking is longer than two days, we’ll charge you two days’ booking price and booking fee. If you add pickup/return, we’ll charge half of any pickup/return fee plus 10% processing fee.

“Indecent return fee”

• ABC AUTOCARS may charge you a $100 indecent return fee plus 3.5% processing fees if you fail to respond to requests to return a vehicle, abandon a vehicle, force a booking cancellation, or for other reasons we determine.

“Late return fee”

• If you return a vehicle one hour or more past the booking’s scheduled end time, ABC AUTOCARS can charge you up to $50 fee, in addition to the cost of your additional use of the vehicle.

“No smoking policy violation fee”

• Neither you nor your passengers, driver, additional driver may smoke in any vehicle subject to the terms and conditions applicable at the time of the rental. If ABC AUTOCARS determine a smell of smoke inside a car, any type of cigarette smoke that settled on car interior surfaces or physical evidence of smoking, ABC AUTOCARS will charge you a $500 violation fee plus an additional 3% process fee and remove you from ABC AUTOCARS. This is per vehicle charge. Other no smoking fees may be assessed depending on the damage caused by the smoke to the vehicle.

“Processing fee”

• Reimbursement issue, we’ll charge a 3.5% processing fee.

“Service animal and pet policy violation fee”

• If you return a vehicle with an excessive amount of animal hair or if you transport a pet without permission in a vehicle not labeled as “pet friendly,” ABC AUTOCARS can charge you a pet cleaning fee of $150.

“Traffic Fine Administration Fee”

• Means an amount levied by ABC AUTOCARS to administer any traffic fine(s) incurred by the Client and/or Driver and/or Additional Driver while renting the vehicle plus 3.5% processing fees.

“Service animal and pet policy violation fee”

• If you return a vehicle with an excessive amount of animal or pet hair or if you transport animal(s) or pet(s) without permission in a vehicle not labeled as “pet friendly,” ABC AUTOCARS can charge you a pet cleaning fee of $150 plus 3.5% processing fees.

“Refuel with low quality of gas violation fee”

• Failure to refuel the booked vehicle with Premium gas, ABC AUTOCARS can charge you a violation fee of $1000 plus 3.5% processing fee.

“Ignore Several vehicle inspection violation fee”

• Failure to conduct several inspections, Failure to alert ABC AUTOCARS of a mechanical problem, you may be subject to a violation fee of $1000 plus 3.5% processing fees.

“Littering”

If there’s clear evidence, ABC AUTOCARS shall be entitled, in its sole and absolute discretion, to charge Renter a violation fee between $50-$1000 plus an additional 3% processing fee for:
• If Renter throw litter onto roadways
• If Renter left any litter on roadways, pavement, sidewalk, public spaces, road, street.
